The latest model in the HN series, which boasts ultimate rigidity and a proven track record in machining difficult-to-cut materials.
Since developing Japan's first column traverse type horizontal machining center in 1974, Niigata's HN series, built on continuous research and development, has become synonymous with "machines that can cut" both domestically and internationally.
In addition to its conventional high-rigidity machine structure and the largest machining area in its class, this high-rigidity horizontal machining center incorporates advanced technologies that respond to feedback from the field. It dramatically improves your production capacity.

Monster Column
The column supporting the spindle is subjected to complex forces such as cutting resistance and vibration. Niigata's original Monster Column has a bell shape and a thick structure, which suppresses vibration during machining. Combined with a high-rigidity base, it exhibits rigidity that can easily withstand heavy cutting.
High rigidity base

The base is subjected to numerous harsh forces, requiring exceptional strength. It is a crucial element that supports the machine and enables high-precision machining. With the industry's largest thickness and wide guide surface spacing, this highly rigid base boasts outstanding stability and vibration absorption, enabling high-precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials.
The masterful technique of "scraping work"

High precision is achieved through meticulous manufacturing.
The corner slide guide section is subjected to high-frequency induction hardening and then polished to achieve an extremely high surface roughness.
The slide side is finished with meticulous scraping by skilled craftsmen in Niigata. The craftsmanship passed down through more than 100 years of history produces an exceptional straightness and perpendicularity that cannot be achieved by machine processing.

The column sliding surface employs a slide pad system.
When replacing the turkite due to wear, the column does not need to be taken back to the site; the replacement can be done on-site.
High Torque Main Shaft

High rigidity
High rigidity is achieved by adopting cylindrical roller bearings, which are essential for heavy cutting, as a standard feature.
Standard high-torque spindle of 1948 N·m
The spindle head, with its 4-speed transmission (2 mechanical gears and 2 motor windings), features an integrated structure that enables powerful cutting, and boasts a maximum motor output of 30kW and a maximum spindle torque of 1948N・m, making it the highest torque spindle in its class.
15000min-1High speed spindle (OP)
A high-speed spindle (OP) with a direct-drive spindle motor can also be installed.
Operator-centric design for safe and efficient machining.
Efficient chip disposal
Dual wipers

The sliding surfaces, crucial for maintaining precision, are equipped with double wipers as standard to prevent chip buildup.
Each wiper blade is cleaned and lubricated to keep it clean.
Machine structure designed with large-scale chip processing in mind.

The machine employs a structure that allows for the smooth discharge of large amounts of chips.
It prevents chip buildup and maintains a stable processing environment.
Functions that improve work efficiency

15-inch touch panel control panelIt allows for intuitive operation, just like using a smartphone.

Rotary control panelThe position can be freely changed during operation for comfortable use.

Operating areaA wide operating area designed with operator efficiency in mind.

ServicesThe spacious workspace makes it easy to attach and detach large workpieces using a crane, and the design facilitates operation for the operator.
