Niigata's unique hybrid guide system
The X and Z axes employ high-rigidity roller guides to accommodate high-speed and heavy cutting.
The Y-axis features Niigata's traditional angled sliding structure.
The guide surface is hardened using high-frequency induction hardening and then polished, while the slide side is finished with meticulous scraping by skilled craftsmen.
The X and Z axes feature high-rigidity roller guides for high-speed and high-efficiency machining, while the Y-axis has an angular slide structure that provides excellent rigidity and long tool life.
By optimally combining two structures with different characteristics, we have achieved both high productivity and high rigidity.

A robust bass and a monster column
Niigata Original Design Monster ColumnThe base has been made 25% thicker than the previous series, further enhancing stability, vibration absorption, and damping.
Furthermore, the Z-axis guide surface, with its guide surface spacing widened by 75%, is equipped with a robust monster column that boasts 40% increased rigidity. Combined with Niigata's traditional square slide column traverse type machine structure, it possesses the rigidity to withstand heavy-duty cutting with ease.
This highly rigid structure is also ideal for mounting bar heads.
High productivity achieved by hybrid guide systems
Rapid traverse speed for each axis (X/Y/Z axis): 41 m/min. (HN1600-S: 30 m/min)
High-rigidity spindle

Equipped with a two-stage gear system, it achieves a maximum output of 37kW and a maximum spindle torque of 1200N・m. Combined with high machine rigidity, it exhibits excellent cutting capabilities even when machining difficult-to-cut materials.
