BAR spindle function

This machine comes standard with a BAR spindle, the largest in its class, featuring a φ130mm diameter and a 555mm stroke. The spindle core cooling function significantly reduces spindle thermal displacement, providing powerful assistance for boring operations.

Two APCs are included as standard equipment, and optional multi-plane APCs, FMSs, and other unmanned systems are available.

High rigidity

Thanks to its excellent spindle accessibility, machining is possible without significantly extending the quill, resulting in superior rigidity.

High precision

As a thermally symmetrical structure for the double column and center spindle, a double guide system is adopted for the Y-axis to reduce the effects of thermal displacement.

Furthermore, the rigidity of the Monster Column enables high-precision machining.

Sending a column

Inheriting the mechanical structure of the HN series, and featuring a column feed without overhangs, it offers superior precision and rigidity compared to saddle-type machines.

Equipped with a highly airtight splash guard as standard, it prevents coolant from splashing outside the machine even when using high-pressure coolant.

Hybrid guide structure to improve the productivity of internal boring

The X and Z axes employ high-rigidity roller guides to accommodate high-speed and heavy cutting.
The Y-axis features Niigata's traditional angled sliding structure.

The X and Z axis roller guides enable high-speed, high-efficiency machining, while the Y axis features a square slide structure that provides excellent rigidity and long tool life.
By optimally combining the unique features of each component, we achieve both high rigidity and high productivity, contributing to improved productivity in boring operations.

Because the end plates of injection molding machines are large and require high precision, high mechanical rigidity is essential. Furthermore, the burden of setup changes becomes greater with large workpieces.

The BAR series' high-rigidity machine structure and BAR spindle enable deep hole drilling in a single chucking without setup changes, achieving both high-precision machining and productivity.
