Niigata, the birthplace of Niigata Machine Techno, has long been a land deeply connected to energy. The Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan) records that in the XNUMXth century, "burning water" was presented to Emperor Tenji from the province of Koshi. That was petroleum.
Our journey began alongside the development of Japan's energy industry. Founded in 1895, starting with the maintenance of oil drilling rigs, we have supported production sites worldwide as a machine tool manufacturer. For 130 years, we have upheld our commitment to providing manufacturing solutions that meet our customers' needs and requirements. Currently, with our horizontal machining centers as our core product, we have earned the trust of our customers by independently developing and providing products that solve challenges such as labor saving and efficiency improvements.
The defining characteristic of our machines is our technology that "maintains stable machining accuracy over long periods thanks to superior machine rigidity." Furthermore, our products boast industry-leading effective machining ranges for processing the maximum possible workpieces, multi-tasking capabilities for process consolidation, and machine rigidity and damping performance that can handle even difficult-to-machine materials. These advantages are now proving their worth in various production sites around the world. In addition to custom specifications tailored to customer needs, we are also developing general-purpose machines, enabling us to offer cost-effective products with short lead times. We will continue to actively expand our offerings to contribute to the diverse manufacturing needs of our customers.
Due to devastating natural disasters and the ravages of war, infrastructure around the world is currently suffering widespread damage and collapse. We believe that if we can utilize the technology and experience we have cultivated over many years to provide the energy supply and industrial machinery necessary for reconstruction, it will be a way to showcase "Niigata" to the world and contribute to the local community. Maintaining the customer-centric approach we have upheld since our founding, we are committed to quality and will continue to provide world-class technology and products, cultivate talent, and support manufacturing.
